Where do I have to live to attend?
Eligible boys and girls must be at least 13 years old and not over 15 years old by June 1, in the year camp is held. Boys and girls should be in good physical condition.

Our program is open to residents of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry and York Counties.

Can I visit my child at camp?
South Central Camp Cadet is held on the beautiful campus of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Being this is a week-long overnight camp, visitors are not permitted. Photos and videos will be posted throughout the week on this site and our Facebook page for you to "check in" on your camper.

When is the application deadline?
After emailing the cadet application and a recent applicant wallet sized photo, you will receive a confirmation letter via email. You will then be scheduled for an interview with a Trooper at a PSP station.

The cadet application and the applicant photo must be received by May 18th.

Yes. All applicants must attend the Cadet interview with a Trooper. You must also bring all remaining forms (pages 2-7) with you for your Cadet interview.

The medical form needs to be signed by an Attending Physician. The decision for a new physical exam will rest with your doctor.
