Where do I have to live to attend?
Eligible boys and girls must be at least 13 years old and not over 15 years old by June 1, in the year camp is held. Boys and girls should be in good physical condition.

Our program is open to residents of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry and York Counties.

South Central Camp Cadet is held on the beautiful campus of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Being this is a week-long overnight camp, visitors are not permitted. Photos and videos will be posted throughout the week on this site and our Facebook page for you to "check in" on your camper.

When is the application deadline?
After emailing the cadet application and a recent applicant wallet sized photo, you will receive a confirmation letter via email containing information about the Cadet mandatory orientation.
Please allow time as applications are processed weekly. If you do not receive a letter by May 1st, please send us an email.

The cadet application and the applicant photo must be received by April 18th.

Yes. All applicants must attend the Cadet mandatory orientation to attend the camp, and must bring the remaining registration forms.

The medical form needs to be signed by an Attending Physician. The decision for a new physical exam will rest with your doctor.
